Dr. Raul F. Ortiz-Umpierre
About Us.....
Dr. Raul Ortiz-Umpierre was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico and is fluent in Spanish. He received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from St. George's university in 2005. He started at Stuart Anima Hospital in 2007 and has since bought the practice from Dr. Katz in 2015.
Dr. Ortiz has also received his acupuncture certification through The Chi Institute and China's National Society of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. He integrates traditional medicine along with Chinese medicine for treatments of different ailments.
Dr. Ortiz is married with 2 wonderful boys.
Stuart Animal Hospital is a full service veterinary practice in Stuart, FL specializing in small animal health care. We also offer a holistic approach incorporating nutrition, herbal medications, and traditional Chinese acupuncture. The Doctors and Staff of Stuart Animal Hospital recognize, honor, and nurture the special and unique bond between the pet and the owner.
